We feel that in order to be a successful dancer,
you must dress like a dancer. For this reason, we require all Earle Cobb dancers to wear appropriate attire to class.
We ask parents to please help us make the student understand the importance of proper attire.
Cover-ups must be
worn over leotards to and from the studio. If tights are footless, students should wear thin socks to avoid stretching
their dance shoes. Dance shoes should not be worn to and from the studio. Street shoes will not be allowed on
the Studio floor. Deodorants are compulsory. Hair must be pulled out of the fae in a ponytail or bun.
The
dress code will be strictly enforced. If a student fails to wear the proper attire, said student will not be allowed
to take the class after one warning.
Pink or white ballet shoes with elastic, any color leotard and tights. Boys should wear black
ballet shoes, and appropriate dancewear. Hair should be worn in a bun.
TAP
Black tap shoes (patent leather shoes should
have elastic instead of ties), any color leotard and tights. Boys should wear appropriate dancewear.
JAZZ/THEATER DANCE
Tan jazz shoes and any color leotard and tights.
Jazz pants are accepted per teacher.
HIP HOP
Black jazz sneakers, comfortable and modest clothing
- NO JEANS.
